This specification can then be used to prepare a detailed schedule of works and as part of a tendering exercise to obtain competitive costs for the project.

Tendering

One of the critical stages in any building project is obtaining quotations for the works required but how do you ensure that when you come to compare those prices, that the specification has been interpreted correctly, that the works will be carried out to the same standard with the same quality methods and materials? I can provide a single point of contact through which other professional appointments such as Architects, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers can be co-ordinated and ensure that tenders can be validly compared in a meaningful way.
